Terms of Service
1. Purpose
These Terms govern the conditions of use and the operating principles of all services provided by MSCW DB ("the Site").
2. Definitions
- Site — all web services operated under the mscwdb.com domain
- User — any individual or organization accessing the Site
- Data — shop, item, and sale information collected from the MapleStory Classic World Free Market
3. Services provided
- Browsing of MSCW Free Market shop listings
- Item price comparison, shop location lookup, sale history
- Public JSON API for programmatic access
4. Fees
The Site is provided free of charge. There is no paid plan. Advertising or optional donations may be introduced later to cover infrastructure costs, but core features will remain free.
5. User obligations
- Do not interfere with the Site's operation (excessive requests, scraping, attacks).
- Do not resell the Site's data for commercial purposes.
- Do not use the Site in violation of applicable law or public order.
6. API usage limits
The public API is intended for good-faith personal use. The operator may apply IP blocks or rate limits without prior notice if abuse is detected.
7. Disclaimers
- Information is collected automatically; accuracy, completeness, and real-time correctness are not guaranteed.
- The Site is not liable for the outcome of trades, investments, or decisions made based on its data.
- The service may be modified or discontinued without prior notice.
8. Copyright
MapleStory item names, images, and game resources are assets of NEXON Korea Corp. The Site references them under fair-use limits (see our Copyright Notice).
9. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be amended with reasonable notice. The "Effective" date at the top of this page is bumped when changes take effect.
